Gamblers Pregame Primer: Indiana, Dec. 5

After a successful road trip that included two victories over Muskegon (10-10-4) last weekend, the Gamblers (11-5-4) take their 26 points to Eastern Conference foe Indiana (11-5-3) Thursday night for a matchup at the Pan Am Arena. This will be the first of four regular season meetings between the two clubs in 2013-2014 and first since Jan. 13, 2013.

Here are a few notes to consider before the puck drops at 7:05 p.m. CT.

  • The Ice also holds true to a five-game winning streak dating back to Nov. 9, which is the third-longest active streak in the USHL.
  • Indiana goaltender Jason Pawloski has garnered a save percentage of 89.2% — third-worst among qualifying goalies this season.
  • Gamblers goalie Jared Rutledge comes into the matchup tied for the league-best mark with 11 wins and has played the third-most time of any goaltender this season (1028:46).
