Losing by a 4-3 regulation mark in Chicago Sunday afternoon, the Gamblers will return to the Resch Center Friday, Jan. 10 for a matchup with the Sioux City Musketeers. It will be the third meeting between the two clubs this season, with Sioux City taking the first two games by one goal margins (2-1 on Oct. 19; 3-2 on Nov. 22), but will be first meeting in Green Bay since March 22, 2013.

10/29/13 — Sioux City 2, Green Bay 1 — Converting on a power play goal in the first period and another in the second, the Musketeers held true to a 2-0 advantage until midway through the final frame, where Nick Schmaltz brought Green Bay to within one with a power play goal of his own. The Gamblers, however, were unable to capitalize from that point forward and eventually fell 2-1. Jared Rutledge tallied 24 saves in the contest while Green Bay matched Sioux City 26-26 in shots on goal.
11/22/13 — Sioux City 3, Green Bay 2 (OT) — After a scoreless a first period for both squads, Sioux City broke through with two second-period goals to go up 2-0. Gavin Stoick trimmed the lead to 2-1 at the end of the period, however, and Schmaltz tied the game midway through the final period, sending the game into overtime. On their 29th shot of the contest, the Musketeers ended things with a power play goal from Blake Heinrich.
